Wedding Weekend

Friday and Saturday I tried my hand at being a wedding photographer. I’m not sure if I like it yet, but I know it would be more fun if the couples were more into getting their pictures taken. My sister went with me and we had a lot of fun and got some good experience, but I’m still on the iffy side. If anyone knows someone getting married who needs a photographer, I would still be interested, and I’m cheap, haha.

Here’s some of the highlights from Friday:

November 24

I’m sitting in web design class, taking a break from all the web design. Sean approves of my design for Holly’s site and luckily Holly also approves. He told me that this site is worth well over $1,000 so, Holly, if you’re reading this – I’m looking forward to dinner. Haha.

Today’s been pretty lazy other than that, I can’t wait to go home and stay with family for Thanksgiving and eat lots and lots of pecan pie! Yay for the holidays!

Here’s some stuff I’ve been working on in experimental photography…

I survived. It was not enjoyable and I never want to do it again, but I survived. Please, for future reference, NO ONE ask me to speak in public – it’s just not a nice thing to ask.

On the bright side, Emily and William (my brother and sister) are spending the weekend with us. So far we have gone out for dinner, bought pop-tarts at Wal-Mart and are currently baking brownies. Oh yes! We’re also about to watch the first episode of 30ROCK Season 4. Yay for me!!
