Sunshine & Book Reading

Today was so gorgeous! It made me feel much better about getting up early for our trip to Fort Wayne today. First we stopped at Chik-fil-A for some lunch, Saint Francis to drop off my senior project (yay!) and then we went to Kohl’s to use our 30% coupon. It was actually Michael’s idea to go shopping today – he’s off for Taylor’s spring break so we had a nice morning/afternoon together before I went to work.

Lately, I’ve been guilting myself into reading books that I’ve bought, yet neglected to read. Currently, I am reading through (and almost finished with) Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.

I admit that when I bought this book a few years ago, I was sucked in by the cover design and then convinced by the synopsis. It really is a good read – I recommend buying it or at least getting it from the library.

I am also listening to a Sue Grafton’s U is for Undertow on CD in the car. It’s about 30 minutes to work, so it’s a good way for me to pass the time.

I’ve read all of Sue Grafton’s Alphabet Series so far, my freshman English teacher in high school actually got me started. They are really good mysteries (my favorite!) and it’s a little different listening to the story instead of reading it this time, but I’m enjoying it all the same.

Hopefully you have a book you’re reading too. If you have any good suggestions, leave me a comment. Happy Reading!
